Manpower, machine quantities, QC hold points and duration are planning recommendations for review and must be aligned with the approved railway/customer QAP, WPS and site conditions before execution.

7. Finalities / Close-out Requirements

  • All identified repair locations completed.
  • Reinforcement parts fitted to applicable drawing.
  • All welds visually accepted; NDT completed where required.
  • Removed floor/roof components reinstated.
  • No loose parts, sharp edges, weld spatter or unprotected bare metal.
  • Repaired structure visually and dimensionally acceptable.

Recommended completion criterion: A wagon should be treated as repair-complete only after the physical work, QC records, coating restoration and final joint inspection are all closed.
